Tips and Fast key

1. Fast Switch Functions:
Example 1: When you stop to erase an embroidery area,
if you select the "running
stitch" (or any other
functions), the system release the "erase" and switches to
the other function.
Example 2: Suppose you have digitized two or three
points under "straight satin",
direct change to "curve
satin" will cause system to release the "straight satin"
and change to the "curve
satin".
2. Cancel a function in progress by
using "Esc" key:
Example: If you digitize some key points on
"straight satin"(i.e. you have not finished
all the key points), pressing
the "Esc" key will cancel the "straight satin" and
change to "running
stitch".
Important: "Esc" forces the exit of any
current function. Any function in the middle of
processing will exit to the
"running stitches".
3. Press "Delete" key to erase
the key points:
Example 1: If you find that a digitized key point of a
"straight satin" (i.e. you have not
finished all the key points)
is not in the right position, you can redo the point
immediately. Pressing the
"Delete" key will erase one key point each time.
When it erase over the
"bad" point, you can then digitize the correct points
required.
Example 2: When you do the "curve satin" or
"fill stitch", pressing the "Delete" key is
also required to re-do the
key points.
What is the difference between the "Erase" and "Delete"?
1) "Erase" function : Erases a finished area (the stitches
have been generated out)
2) "Delete" key: When you are digitizing the key points (the
stitches have not been
generated), use "Delete"
to re-digitize any of the key points.
4. Fast zooming: Press "PageUp" or "PageDown" key for
zoom-IN or zoom-OUT.
5. Shift design on screen: The four direction (arrow) keys can shift the design on
screen immediately.
Benefit: You can digitize the different parts of the
design under the same zoom level
without confusion and it
allows you to get to adjacent areas of the design easily.
For rapid advance, hold down
the arrow key.
6. Fast operation using left/right
hands: Use both the keyboard your mouse
for
digitizing. All commands are well
numbered. Use one hand to press the number of
a command on the keyboard, use
another hand to digitize the design. It can
increase your productivity
and makes digitizing less strenuous.
7. Guide by message box: There is a message box at the lower-left side of the screen.
It displays the guide of the
current procedure that the system is going to do.
For the convenience of
identification, "running stitch" has a white background,
while the other functions have a
light blue background.
8. Temporary long stitch: In the case of "running stitches", pressing the
"L" key will
change the setting of running
stitch to 12.1mm. Pressing "Esc" or clicking the
mouse RIGHT button will change the
12.1mm back to the previous setting.
9. Micro-move: When you are going to MOVE a point or a partial section of
stitches,
use the four arrow keys to move by
0.1mm increments (this is the same accuracy
as the embroidery machine). The
distance moved is shown in the X,Y display
window at the bottom of the screen.
Move long distance: First use your mouse to move most
of the distance, then use
the micro-move technique (arrow
keys) to continue to the exact location.
Note: You do not
need to click, just move the mouse in the direction you desire.
Also no clicking is necessary to
use the arrow keys.
Increase speed of keyboard arrow keys: Under Windows
Settings --> Control
Panel --> Keyboard --> Repeat
Rate --> Fastest.
