General:

almost like the Professional version.Please

2. Eliminates the bugs reported from users.
3. Special modification has been made for Windows
XP. If you use Windows XP, you must

here for relative settings.
4. Now there is the file .tra added for each
design. If you need technical support, please
e-mail
us your the files CND/STH/TRA
as well as the original graphic image of your design from:
Database Design Library: C:\WinDaisy\cndsthlib\filename.(cnd/sth/tra)
Temporary Area: C:\TmpDesign\filename.(cnd/sth/tra)
5. After you download the video lessons and save
them into a folder in hard disk, you can open
the video lessons offline
by giving the path.

Software and Hardware Setup:
1. "Audio when digitizing: Long, Medium,
Short.": Some computers can not BEEP for short
sound,
user can change it to Medium to get the beep when digitizing.
2. "Contour fill slope: Leftward,
Rightward": User can define the slope of contour fill stitches.
3. "Number of needle-up stitches during trimming":
Default is 3. It can be set up to 9.
Digitizing:
1. Auto round satin stitches
2. Auto oval satin stitches
3. Contour fill stitch
4. Auto PhotoStitch: PhotoStitch has the same CND/STH
structure, so you can change the
size, stitch count, or add letters using the
Lettering Design System with ease.
5. Circle Running Stitches: Change in the method of
generating a circle by
pulling the mouse.
6. Change the gray background on screen to a
lighter gray.
Editing:
1. Block manipulation: Stretch, change size, shift
and rotate (by center or corner) under one
command.
2. In additional to the "Select the area by
two points", now user can "Block" the area by
color,
needle-up,
or mouse dragging in order to Shift, Delete, Change densities or stitch count,
change size or
rotate the design. Please refer to the revised 4-4.doc (Move Block) as an
example. All the other
editing functions can also employ the new "Block" select method.
3. After "Blocking" the area, user can
further modify the position of the starting point and ending
point
precisely until the exact target point is reached.
4. User can change the color of the blocked area in
order to show this area with more contrast.
5. "B= Backward" is added in the
"Change density -> One by one". User now can go
backward
in
designs elements to
change their densities.
Input/Output:
1. Improvement in the Tajima machine format
problem (experienced with
some computer
systems) when it is saved to the hard disk.
Warning:
1. Your computer must be already installed with
WinDaisy before.
2. Users of the Professional version must do item
"B" to update.
A. Update the WinDaisy Shareware Version:

If you have downloaded the Shareware
version of this software prior to the above date, please follow these instructions to
receive an on-line update to the latest version: |

1. Click here to download the
current update patch. Save this file, named
"EngShare-Update.exe" in
a temporary folder; For example "c:\Temporary
\EngShare-Update.exe"
2. Double click the
"EngShare-Update.exe" file. This will automatically set up and
install all needed patch / update
files.
3. If you download the complete files to reinstall the
WinDaisy again, it can
let you "update the software
only without erasing the designs in hard disk".

B. Update the WinDaisy Professional
Version:
(v4.6.1)

Only the customers who purchased the WinDaisy professional version
can be authorized to update.

C. Change/maintain the WinDaisy
system:
|
|
1. Update or reinstall:
Update or reinstall the WinDaisy software system will not destroy the
data or
designs in your computer.
2. Re-install the complete software:
This is similar to "Update".
If you install the complete system again, it will only update your
WinDaisy software
system without destroying the data or designs in your computer.
When it find the same folder/files already in the hard disk, it will
ask you to "cancel"
or "continue" the installation, please make it to continue
the installation.
3. Be careful:
3.1 Please don't do "remove WinDaisy" by control panel in
Windows.
3.2 Please don't delete C:\WinDaisy.
3.3 In another word, if you want to remove the WinDaisy from your
computer,
please do 3.1 and then 3.2.
4. Move to a new computer:
Your data/designs are in the 5 folders listed below:
4.1 C:\WinDaisy\CndSthLib (folder of the database
design library)
4.2 C:\WinDaisy\TmpDesign (folder of the designs in
temporary area)
4.3 C:\WinDaisy\UnderlayBmp (folder of underlay
pictures)
4.4 C:\WinDaisy\bead (folder of bead library)
4.5 C:\WinDaisy\WinDaisy.ini (file of WinDaisy
status) --- Note this is a file
Please backup these 5 items in another storage.
Install the WinDaisy system in the new computer.
Copy the 5 items into the related folders of the new computer.
